This is a great question! They have panelling they put over the ice and then lay the court over it. Same goes for concerts, etc. The ice during the season is kept under panels. Melted in the offseason

If the ice is made up of 12 layers, how many layers are on top of the blue lines, logo, etc?
That's all paint and adhesive logos, maybe one or two more layers on top of it
