WASHINGTON — For the Washington Capitals, Friday’s 5-1 win over the Minnesota Wild was a step in the right direction. That said, they feel there’s still work to do.
“We still have lots of potential,” Alex Ovechkin said, adding, “Sometimes it takes a couple games to feel the puck.”
Ovechkin got his first of the season, and Dylan Strome had a four-point night en route to the Capitals’ fourth straight win.
