ARLINGTON, V.A. — Washington Capitals hockey is officially on the horizon, with training camp set to kick off Thursday at MedStar Capitals Iceplex.
Washington’s players wrapped up informal skates on Tuesday and have their annual physicals and internal media day on Wednesday. Then, they have their first on-ice sessions, which include the infamous skate test, and their official media day on Thursday.
The Capitals’ camp roster consists of 37 forwards, 18 defensemen and seven goaltenders.
